Traveler, writer, architect and photographer, dedicated to issues of architecture, heritage, travel and tourism. He has traveled to more than one hundred countries on all continents, and has published numerous books. He regularly collaborates with reports and articles in travel magazines as Viajes National Geographic, Geo, Traveller, Rutas del Mundo, Descubrir el Arte, Club de Gourmets, El Mundo, and women's magazines such as Elle and Marie Claire, among other means. For Televisión Española has developed scripts for Paraísos Cercanos. Right now heads the news agency Culture & Travel In Focus Travel Press and collaborates in the travel program Gente Viajera de Onda Cero, directed by Esther Eiros.
He received the National Journalism Award Vega Inclán from the Ministry of Transport, Tourism and Communications, the Journalism Award FITUR, the Bronze Medal for Merit in Tourism, and other journalism awards as the Ciudad de Cuenca, Journalism Award from the Press Association of Tenerife, Journalism Award from the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, the Award for Broadcast Architecture of the College of Architects of Madrid, and Broadcast Media Award for Architecture of the City of Madrid, and Madrid International Journalism Award Plaza Mayor, the Madrid Tourist Board.
Participant and speaker at numerous international conferences on issues related to the protection of heritage, professor at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid (ETSAM) and the Universidad Europea of Madrid, has been conducting extensive outreach and advocacy architectural heritage as Patron of the Fundación Cultural COAM and a member of the Commission for Social Diffusion of Architecture in the College of Architects of Madrid.

Ha viajado a más de un centenar de países en todos los continentes, y cuenta con numerosos libros publicados. Colabora habitualmente con reportajes y artículos en revistas de viajes como Viajes National Geographic, Geo, Traveller, Viajar, Rutas del Mundo, Descubrir el Arte, Club de Gourmets, el diario El Mundo, y revistas femeninas como Elle y Marie Claire, entre otros medios. Para Televisión Española ha  elaborado guiones del programa de Paraísos Cercanos. En estos momentos dirige la agencia de prensa de cultura y viajes In Focus Travel Press y colabora en el programa de viajes Gente Viajera, de Onda Cero, que dirige Esther Eiros.

 

Ha recibido el Premio Nacional de Periodismo Vega Inclán del Ministerio de Transportes, Turismo y Comunicaciones, el Premio de Periodismo FITUR, la Medalla de Bronce al Mérito Turístico, y otros premios periodísticos como el Ciudad de Cuenca, el de la Asociación de la Prensa de Tenerife, el de la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla-La Mancha, el Premio a la Difusión de la Arquitectura del Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid, y el Premio Medios de Difusión de Arquitectura del Ayuntamiento de Madrid, así como Premio Internacional de Periodismo Madrid, Plaza Mayor, del Patronato de Turismo de Madrid.

 

Participante y ponente en numerosos congresos internacionales en temas relacionados con la protección del Patrimonio, profesor en la Escuela Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid y en la Universidad Europea de Madrid, ha venido realizando una amplia labor de difusión y defensa del patrimonio arquitectónico como Patrono de la Fundación Cultural COAM y como miembro de la Comisión para la Difusión Social de la Arquitectura del Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos de Madrid.
